350 deere diesel injector problems....

I need injectors for a straight 350 deere diesel. Where is the best place to buy them? I bought the cheapos off ebay and it sounds like only one is working as it wont kick off and it
is only firing on one.

Also it seems pretty straight forward installing them but maybe I am missing something. Is there any tips or tricks?

Is mother deere the best place to buy them?

Don't you have a diesel injection repair shop in your area? You can have your old and new injectors, and the IP, if necessary tested instead of just blindly throwing $$$$ at it.

You say you got "el cheapos." That means what? Brand new made in China, or so called "rebuilt" that do not exist in the real world. I've bought a lot of brand new cheap Chinese pencil injectors for my Deere and Case equipment. Zero problems.

New AR89564 injectors are $116 from Deere, with a $5 core charge. REBUILT injector from DEERE, part# SE501099 are $82.95 with a $5 core, new aftermarket injectors A-AR89564 from A&I Products (which are likely import) are $61.24, no core.
While rebuilt's may not exist in the real world, they do exist in the DEERE world as all the above information is pulled directly from JDPARTS.com, if you don't believe me, look it up yourself. Just to be sure, I also verified all this information with two different dealerships, one of which I used to work for and know the guys personally, the other I have done business with for 15 years. There was slight variation in pricing from Deere's website, but not significant.
As of 10 minutes ago, Deere had 552 new injectors on hand, and over 1200 rebuilt, not including machine down inventory.

I would try cracking the lines at the nozzles and make sure you have all the air out. You should have clear fuel with no bubbles.

We've had this discussion already and you obviously got angry over my daring to ask questions. Before you throw another tantrum, I ask again. If someone now has found a way to renew the wear surfaces in a pencil injector so it then gives performance and endurance like a brand new one - I'd like to hear some actual specs on what is done. Unlike an injector with a replacement nozzle tip - just about NO wear parts are available via Stanadyne to truly rebuild pencil injectors. If someone has actually found a cost-effective way to renew the valve face and seat and multiple orifice holes to new specs - please explain. I bet Deere Company hasn't.

Then all I can say is ask Deere, they offer the product, therefore they have to warranty it. If it was not an acceptable product, they would not offer it.

I'm sorry to drop an off-topic note in this thread but I can't figure out how to ask a question to an individual that actually KNOWS the answer...so here goes. JDemaris, can you tell me if the injector pump on my JD 2440 (JDB435MB2805) is different than what the JD Technical Reference manual says I have which is "Roosa Master, Model JDB".

Secondly, the throttle shaft seals on my pump are weeping fuel. The tractor runs perfect...but the dripping fuel is annoying. I'd like to renew the seals and am willing to spend $26 on a full kit. My question is am I going to disturb anything important by pulling the shaft out and replacing some O-rings? Am I going to find this a big headache or can I just have at it (I've got enough skill to install pistons and camshafts in a car engine...don't have any experience with diesels).

Again, I'm sorry to bother you in this thread but I've read your commentary on pumps and rebuilding in other threads and you know what you're talking about. I'd be grateful for a little guideance...and I won't be back complaining if I screw the job up. TIA.
