HD3 valve cover gasket

Forum,
Returned from northern Minnesota and have a question.
Removed and replaced the $25.00 valve cover gasket and was not happy with the results!! Tightened carefully and ran it for a while and oil was flowing all over the place. Applied more torque and it helped. Still the oil flows on the right side when the crawler is moving on right sloped terrain. After close observation seems the valve cover studs are not on center and there is less pressure on that right side which seems to be part of the problem. On the flat or slanted to the left it is fine. Another possible reason is a lot of blow by which may not help the situation. Have checked the breather tube and it is clear. I do not plan on rebuilding the engine as it runs quite well. Question is what can be done to remedy this problem? May have to redo the gasket with a high heat silicone material which requires special prep. Any other thoughts or ideas are welcome.

This is an HD3, not an H3? I can't address the Buda diesel. But on the gas engine, it's common for the valve cover to be spread from over tightening.

If the cover is not pinching the gasket squarely it will leak,if any of the old gasket material is there it will prevent it sitting squarely, take it off again, make sure the cover is not distorted and it and head are clean, glue the gasket to the cover with a strong glue, put a 3/16" bead of liquid gasket on the other side and put the cover in place, put on the retaining nuts finger tight only and leave it, on return nip up the nuts idea been if you tighten the cover down after its put on the liquid gasket will just ooze out whereby if its left overnight it will have solidified and now all it needs is a small pinch to make a good seal.
