I just bought an old D7E cat and the blade tilt
isn't hooked up, one line is missing like it blew
and they removed it and the other is unhooked. I
don't know exactly where they go and There is some
lines hooked up where I think they should go.
Tomorrow night I'll try and drop the rear pan to
see where 2 lines go that look like they should be
the blade tilt.

The lines from the tilt cylinder will connect to the tilt control valve, there was a few different locations for the valve depending on what other equipment was on the machine, tracing the lines back like you say is best.

Pete will be easier to pull the floor boards and look. The tilt valve on MOST 7E are there ate the tank and valve on the right of the seat.

That's, the problem, looks like there is two hoses hooked up where the tilt should be. They go down below the transmission,I'mstill didigging in the dirt and such to find where

Well pretty sure you will find they go up beside the engine toward the front of the machine. Look down around the sides of the engine. Most exited there on the side of the hard nose OR up in the corner of the grill, depending on how they were set up. Also rare but some d7 folks have the lines coming out of the machine by the equalizer bar coming over to the blade trunion and going up thru the blade push arm. Find that tilt valve there in front of the tank and trace those lines, you will get it.
