310 crawler loader tilt cylinder

i have a case 310 crawler loader..it has developed a leak on one of the bucket tilt cylinders and i would like to get a kit to repack/rebuild the cylinder......hydraulic fluid is expensive

are the tilt cylinders the same on the later case 310 e,f,and g's

there seems to be no problem getting kits for the later models

the cylinders on mine are tie rod type, if this is any help

if they are not the same , does anyone know where to get the rebuild packings and seals kit [case number is d 30135]

the old girl runs like a charm since ed at crawler heaven got me a new set of track chains and i added a pertronix ignition and a gm cs type alternator

thanks for your help john bars

Tie rod cylinders were not standard, take it off and take it to a
local hydraulic shop as it could have several different seals
depending on who manufactured it.

thanks , i'll give coleman a shot
i wonder am i mistaken in calling it a tie rod cylinder...it does have 4 external long bolts that hold it together , but appears to be original to this machine , looks to be the same as the picture in the case parts manual

Yes they were known as tie rod cylinders and were used on most all early machines, they were standard on the early 310's.
