TD6 Snow Control

Here in upstate NY sometimes we measure the snow in feet instead of inches. Thewn you need a little bit bigger equiptment. Love my dozer! Old but still runs great. Hood is off because I had to bleed injectors.I'll be winching some trees out of the woodlot when the snow is gone

Snow is nothing to these things, I remember all the times I pushed up snow with crawlers at work, later with my old D7. Nothing to it, but you do want to watch how much accumulates in the track frame, it tightens things up when it builds up. I can recall hearing the recoil springs on the D7 kind of snap or something, made sure to clean the snow out when it did. I guess that's why they have the pads with center holes in them and the King of Obsolete replaces top rollers with hardwood guides.

No, don't have sno- pads or cleats. Just very worn tracks. Pins were supposedly turned before I got it. Some day when I have more cash I'd like to find some tracks for it. I know, rare, and all I can hope for is good used ones.....

Is that a McCormick dozer/toolbar setup?

I spent most of yesterday in the woods with my JD40C. We've got plenty of snow here on the NY/Ontario border. Not even worth trying to take a wheeled rig in the woods now.
