1995 ford powerstroke

had problems with fuel going in oil and turbo leaking oil. I put new lift pump and new lines and changed turbo, started up and it is putting eraw fuel out of driver side exhaust, any body got any suggestons, I am getting ready to put new seals in injectors. I need some advice.

Make sure you don't destroy the valve cover
gaskets, as the injector and gp wires run
through them. Once you pull injectors, make
sure to roll engine over without injectors in to
expel any hpop oil/fuel that may have made its
way into the cylinders. Once you have it back
together, roll it over by hand a few times first
before starting, just to ensure it is not
hydrolocked. Make sure you get the correct
injector o-rings for your injector. Usually when
injector o-rings are bad, you get engine oil in
fuel filter bowl. Change engine oil when you are
done.

I for got to turn engine over and put injector in, now motor is locked. I guess fuel went on piston. how do I get it unlocked and will the seals cause raw fuel to come out exhaust pipe.

okay, truck turned over and started after setting over night but fuel is dripping out of exhaust on drivers side. I changed seals on 1 injector. going to change rest of seals mon. truck starts and sounds good hate to change motors. does any one know what causes fuel to run out of exhaust. put new lift pump and lines on. thanks

Only reason I can think you would see raw fuel
coming out if the exhaust, would be a seriously
bad injector tip leaking, or the turbo is wasted
and not providing enough air to burn the fuel
completely. Of course, if that was the case, you
would notice that it would not run very well. Are
you sure it does not have a cracked injector
cup, and that it is actually antifreeze coming out
the exhaust? Has it been running hot? Coolant
tank oily/ scummy, smells like fuel? If so you
have a bad injector cup which can hydrolock a
cylinder as well. You usually cant see the crack
with the naked eye. Forgot to tell you to pull 7,8
injectors first, the two at the rear, that way all of
the oil/fuel will drain into those 2 cylinders and
leave the others clean. Still have to roll it over
by hand before reinstalling the injectors to
clean the fuel and oil from those 2 cylinders.

don't run hot, it is fuel coming from some where. it is hard to see. my mechanic says it is coming from exhaust but don't vome out the rear. dripping in the front, we took pipr loose up front but I thank it might coming from line, how could tell which injector is bad. thanks

If you are going to do injector orings, just take
them to a pump shop, that'd be the easiest way.
