Hello:
Someone to give the valve clearance for TD 9 334.5 gas to diesel engine. I torqued the head nuts to 185 ft. lbs. And the engine ran rough, noisy. I checked two valves -intake and exhaust- to learn one had .30 clearance and the other had a close .32.
That is definitely a wide gap. I am thinking it should be .17; however, I am not confident.
