1995 ford f700 electric brake

have a 1995 ford f700 with electric parking brake, just bought it. has been setting about 6 months, both wheels are locked and wont release, I have not tried any thing yet, if I cant get it to release, is there any way I can back the park brake off and still have brakes so I can drive it home, I have not checked fluid or nothing, they were working when parked 6 months ago. thanks. I need to get it home

Many of the Mico electric locks need the brake pedal depressed after turning the switch off to release the brakes.

Are you talking about the Lucas /Girling brakes? If
so the parking brake is not electric. The electric is
for the main brakes in case of an emergency. They
work just like air, they apply with a spring and are
released with hydraulic pressure, supplied by a power
steering pump on the engine. There is a bolt on each
chamber to back the wedge out. More Questions?

Yes they are 2 separate systems. They really should
work if you fill the reservoir on the pump with
Dextron start the engine and push the knob in.If the
belt is not broken and you don't have any leaks they
should release.
