Hey folks.
I am in the process of rebuilding the motor in my 4500 tlb.
It is the 201 3 cylinder diesel and I have the block resleeved and disassembled the oil pump for cleaning and inspection.
All the clearances are within spec however the rotor housing is slightly scored, just enough to barely catch a fingernail in one spot.
Should I use or replace? I don't have an unlimited budget!
Also I have a tab broken off the bottom of the hard nose where it attaches to the motor and I would like to replace the nose if I can find one. Otherwise I am going to see if I can heat the casting and weld the tab back on.
Thanks for any help.
