1947 hd-7 clutch disc needed

We used to go to a parts store that carried a lot of truck parts. They could usually match up a truck clutch to the combine or tractor clutch that was superior to the original equipment.

A Ford 10" truck clutch with a shock link used to fit a lot of other applications.

CECO Friction products ought to be able to reline your old one. They can do either riveted or bonded linings both, with no problem.

just be carefull if you substitute another disk for yours. I am running one of the disks from an old twin disk truck clutch in my HD7 and it is thicker than the original. I had to run hardened washers between my flywheel and pressure plate. Didn't realize the problem til I had the engine back in. I measured a whole bag of washers with a micrometer and found ones that were within a thousandth or two of each other. I works fine but I wish I'd realized it ahead of time. The splines were torn out of my original disk so I couldn't reline it.
