550G John Deere steering clutches

No drive, no brake, lots of noise on right side. Broke track, removed final drive pinion gear and found no splines in what I assume is the brake hub. Now, I'm used to working on older stuff, B's and C's so how does the steering clutches come out of this beast? There is no covers under the seat like I'm used to seeing but there is a huge plate bolted to the back of the housing.

Yup. Drain the rear case and pull that large plate. Steering clutches waaay up inside there. Kinda a pain as I recall. When you're putting it back together there is a lever in there that has a tendency to flop over. When it does you can still get it together but it won't work right. Working from memory here.
