J D 450 C Fuel Problem

Having issues with return line stopping up where the little check ball valve is on top of injector pump. Cleaned tank, changed filter, blew through lines but still getting something that looks like perhaps small flakes of rubber. Anyone have any ideas of where it is coming from and what it might be? Kinda stumped as to what to do next. Thanks in advance for your help.

It's a common problem with all the Stanadyne DB and JDB pumps. Plastic dampener on the governor flyweight cage. $50 in parts to fix. If you can't do yourself that 2 hours of labor (on the bench) can cost your $400-$800.
