A friend brought me a box full of this magneto and I have it back together, but I don't have a clue where the lag angle should be. Can some one tell me.

I seem to remember 15th the points and the lag 30° but I'm not sure,someone with a D2 manual may have it.

D2--points .014 to .018
20* ahead of top center on the compression stroke of NO 1 cylinder
