Dozer fork lift attachment?

Forum Members,
Has anyone attempted to fabricate a fork lift attachment to their dozer blade. Want to use the blade as a sort of fork lift for moving things around. Any and all thoughts welcome.

not a fork lift but I invented a gin pole unit for moving stuff around. JD 350 dozer with ROPS cab & limb risers, winch & front blade. Gin poles mounted on top of the blade with anchor lines going to the front base of the limb risers. Welded a pulley on top of the rops. Brought the winch line thru the pulley to the front of the gin poles & down to the tailchain. Raising the blade gave you some lift & reeling in winchline gave more lift. Crude but worked if used carefully (not overloaded). Safety police need not reply.

I had some forks hung off the top lip of my case 450 crawler loader before. I had to extend the height of the forks so it would reacdh the top oof the bucket. It was fast and crude but worked alright for moving the odd item. ended up taking them off and making a full on attachment for my loader.
