John Deere 1010 Gearmatic Winch Value

I have a John Deere 1010 crawler, it is a gas model. It has a Gearmatic winch on the back of it, I would like to sell the winch and was wondering the value of it. It does work good and was told by the previous owner that he had reconditioned it. I pull a trailer with the dozer most of the time and just have no need for the winch. Thanks for any help.

$300 used to be the going price but that was a long time ago.

I'd do an internet search for people selling them and see what they get. See if that lines up with what you think. These days I'd figure a good one has to be worth at least $500.00 to start.

Not sure of the model. Is there a plate on it somewhere that has the model number? I am located in Pennsylvania. I saw one on ebay that was similar to it for $2000 but thought that was high.
