T340; who handles the parts nowadays?

Hello there.

I plan on picking up a T340 later this fall. I have always wanted one to use around the farm for small stuff. It has the Drott 4in1 l loader, and a reverser.

I am having trouble finding out who handles parts for it. I read that after the IH breakup, Drott bought the industrial end of IH. Then, Komatsu bought Drott at some point?

Engine parts are no problem, but who handles the brakes, brake clutches, sprockets and U/C stuff? I have been unable to find any good diagrams of the darn thing on line anywhere. The machine I am getting has really good U/C, so thank god for that.

I will buy a service & operators manual for it, but it would be nice to find out just how scare parts for it are.

I appreciate any help or opinions!

hi
case/ih should have the brake parts because a lot of the parts are the same as the 340 farmall wheel tractor.

the drott loader part is what drott built for the crawler.

maybe some one has more info.

(quoted from post at 05:29:55 09/02/14) I would go tot he Red Power website and ask there in the construction equipment section.

DITTO!

The clutches and steering/foot brakes are not the same as the wheel tractor. You are going to find that the steering parts are available, aftermarket only and undercarriage/track parts are made of unobtainium. A company called Berco (Spelling?) May have something but I doubt it.

Yea like Bret said go to redpower.

Well, thank you for the replies. I will go to Redpower, and see what they have to say.

Like all things industrial, it looks to be a PIA!!

Thank You!!

I have Operators,Service and parts manuals for that machine also when you are ready i may have parts

I have 3 T-340's. two running and one for parts. Some of the parts are the same as the wheel tractors but other than the engine don't expect your Case IH dealer to know which. I rebuilt one in 90's and used Berco brand rollers,... sprockets and chains =$. I am going to sell the 4 in 1 loader off the parts crawler as I have no interest in that part. I'm in Mich. Dresser actually ended up being part of Komatsu which has the IH ind. parts now.
