I have a case 450 crawler loader that just quit moving checked fluid and hoses and filters in the filter coming from the tank to the charge pump I found shavings and pieces of what appeared to be hose or something of that nature I gave torque converter pressure and transmission pressure I am getting ready to remove converter any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate thanks

There is a hard fiber type driving ring that is bolted to the front of the torque,it sits in the internal teeth of the flywheel, they have been known to strip the teeth resulting in no drive so you are heading in the right direction esp if you found shavings.

This is a 1966 case does this machine have this ring you are
talking about in my research I found they put 3 different
converters in this machine I will be removing it tomorrow so
ill let you know what I find thanks for your help

I was presuming that when you said you were going to remove the torque that you had established that there was no power been transmitted to the output shaft going from the torque to the transmission,if you look down through the floor and you see the drive shaft is motionless when the machine is in drive you will know the trouble is in the torque,if the shaft is spinning the trouble is in the tranny, having oil pressure means that the charge pump is working, yours should be on the right side of the engine under the generator, when you remove the torque the assembly comes out with the cover, the toothed drive ring that is bolted to the torque front sits inside the flywheel internal teeth,if the teeth on the drive ring strip it results with no drive been transmitted.

Thank you for your help the converter came out great and the
fiber ring crumbled in my hand also every bolt was broke off
some looked like they had been broke a while about four or
five looked fresh but I think I found my trouble thanks once
again

No sweat, the Case online parts catalog can be accessed at the link below, first page opens,on the left click on Find parts by model, another page opens, type in 450 and hit search, all the machines with 450 in the model number appear go down till you find yours you will find the torque in page two.
Good luck
