D8 Cat prime hydraulic pump??????????????

D8 has been sitting for over 5 years. Everything
worked good before. Now the hydraulics won't work.
Including the power shift mechanism. Pump aparently
needs priming. Anybody know how to do it??

You should't need to prime the hydrolic and transmission you should check the oil lever in hydrolic tank and the transmission you need angaged the transmission with motor running in idle and check the transmission depp stick

You shouldn't need to but take off square cover on magnetic screen and fill it with oil then try again. YOU MAY HAVE A WORN OUT PUMP OR AN AIR LEAK IN THE SUCTION LINES.
