HD3 left steering ?

Forum Members,
Was using the HD3 yesterday in northern Minnesota and found it difficult to steer to the left. Question is might it be the left steering clutch release or the brake? How does one tell the difference? Novice to crawlers!!Any and all thoughts welcome.

when going forward up a slight incline pull back both clutch levers at the same time without touching the brakes and the machine should stop--if it goes to the right the left clutch is not releasing
