We have a JD 2010 diesel crawler loader with backhoe
It has always ran great until now and I have been all over the net trying to find out why it will start but not keep running.....it did have air in lines but think that is out...but still won't keep running....checked all filters.
Has anyone had this problem....glow plugs are good...starts fine, getting fuel, starting fluid helps for a short spurt but then even it won't keep it running. Thanks for ANY ideas. Linda

It is a very common problem with those injection pumps used on Ford, Case, Oliver, AC, Deere, etc. tractors and also Ford and GM pickups before 1985. plastic governor dampener is broken inside the pump.
They often only last 10 years. Some less and some more.
