78 vintage 450C w 6 way blade. Would like to put a backhoe on it at some point (have the bracket...that's the hard part)
After many years of reliable service the ol yellow machine has lost its hydraulics. It's been a work horse and still has many hours left.
Pump has been weak, couplers/splines has seen better days. It all needs replacing. Would like to upgrade pump output for running backhoe
I really don't want to pay JD dealer pricing so I am reaching out to the 'net for upgrades. prices, part #s, places to buy from. I saw an older post with someone utilizing a cast iron pump.
With all that said I am sure someone out there has already done the research and I am mush minded from looking at pumps and parts #s.
Help a girl out there guys... I am at your mercy! Ohh and for more guy giggles...my hydraulic pump is in an oil soaked box on the kitchen counter and the rusty.crusty couplers are on the kitchen table...and I DON"T care.
