After running 1hr my D-9 will not go forward or reverse. Than I will shut the engine off for 15 minutes and it is ok. I have changed the pickup screen and filters. It is a 3 speed power shift. Any help is appreciative. THANKYOU

It sounds like you've already checked the two most common problems, by checking the screens and filters. Beyond that there are several things that could cause the problem, from the seals on the clutch pistons leaking, to the clutches themselves being worn out, to low application pressure.

That said, I'll see if I can dig out my 9G books tomorrow (need them next week to do the heads on one anyways) and see if I can figure out how to post the procedures for testing the pressures for you.

Usually if the trans pressure is low the gear shift jumps to neutral,I would be suspecting the TC scavenge pump, note the level of the oil, when you lose drive dip it again,if its low chances are that the scavenge pump is not pumping the oil back from the TC housing.

I suspect the torque temp is high when this happens. First thing I would do is check the trans pump pressure at high and low idle with oil warm when it stops moving. Check at the filter top or the priority valve on the front of the trans. Should be around 400 Psi and hold 90% of the value of high idle at low idle. Also check in all gears at low idle and compare. Come on back with what you find and we will talk more.
