case 1150

Hi im looking at a dozer seems to be in good shape its a 1150 case. Only issue is brakes dont work at all..... are there any tests I can do to narrow 0ut few things? Does anyone kno how complex this brake system is? Or a common problem?

The early 1150 had hydraulic disc brakes much like you would find on a wheel tractor,two master cylinders operated by the pedals with slave cylinders operating expanding actuators between two discs in each brake housing,with the Case counter rotating track drive the brakes are not used as much as conventional crawlers and the brakes are often left not working,may have ran out of fluid or need bleeding.
