JD 400 Backhoe No Go

Well guys , I had a good look at the 400 . It's only worth scrap price because someone removed the spark plugs and she has tons of weld on her --- it's a money pit.

Scrap price? If you dont buy it let me know, I have a 400 with just a front bucket and a 300 for some parts but I so I could always use a spare haha

I had a lady give me a John Deer i think its a crawler it has back hoe attachments everything looks pretty solid motor wise it was taken out by her husband and he has past away. But they said it ran when he started restoring it. What is the value on something like this do o need more info give me some tips or what should i ndo with it?

Don't know much about crawler backhoes because they are not popular around here . But if it were mine and I didn't need the hoe, I would sell it and use the dozer only , they are handy and easy to sell .

I think you need to put more info on what you have. I have never heard of a 400 jd crawler. That may be the backhoe number. regardless if its not running then its a hard sell. norm

4 grand huh? for that price i am gonna pass too, i bought my running 400 for 1300...
