John Deere 2010 Backhoe brakes

I had the misfortune of attempting to take of the right brake drum on my backhoe. Several hours later I finally got the housing off, and a day later I got the brake assembly apart. It was rust frozen on the the shaft. I didn't have a parts brake down and found an extra steel section and friction disc.

I destroyed the outer friction disc getting it off.

I've yet to see brakes that worked well on any 1010
or 2010 wheel tractor - even when the brakes were
new.

Okay, not quite sure what the question you have is, but you can find the parts break down on line in the JD parts online. model search 2010, sectional index, 60- steering and brakes, 20- brake assembly.. most parts are still available at JD. But as jdemaris says they never were very good from new on the backhoes, way to much weight to be stopped effectively by such a set up.
