350b torsional isolator

I am working on a 350b and want to go with the newer setup from the 350D rather than the springs that keep breaking. I am replacing the input shaft on the reverser cause it is worn alot, so are the splines on the isolator. I have to replace it anyway for that reason. That part # AT77319 for the isolator, is that all that you needed? How does it bolt to the fly wheel? Does it use the existing bolts? I need some advice before I spend a bunch of money and end up with paper weights. JD people at the dealer say none of this will work. Any help is appreciated greatly. I got some of this info from an old post from 2004 with Wingnut on this forum.

As I recall - a new flywheel must be used with the new isolator. The first isolators like used in 1010s and early 350s were the best. The 2nd version that had the center plate, spring anchors, separate springs, etc. was absolutely awful. 3rd version seems fine other then the price and parts needed.

Easy to verify. Look up the flywheel for a 350C and compare to a 350D. If different - there's the answer.

Rubber torsional isolator has to be used with the corresponding flywheel for that isolator. Both are obsolete from Deere, although used flywheels should be around, as well as maybe isolators.
