Libra 116s mini excavator

I recently traded my ford jubilee tractor for a Libra 116s mini excavator in good running shape. Has a 3cylinder perkins diesel, doesn't smoke, everything works, but doesn't have motor to spend cab on tracks. It does need a throttle cable and that is something that I haven't been able to find. It has threaded ends and are straight. Also, where can I find parts and diagrams for this model? All help will be appreciated.

Like USA1 said, it's more than likely a gray market machine, meaning it was never meant for sale in the US. I've worked on construction equipment for a living most of my life, and I have never heard of the brand....and I though I had heard nearly all of them....

That said, if the swing motor is missing, you'll need to get measurements of the bolt pattern where it bolts up, and measure the diameter of, and spline count/keyway width and depth of the shaft. From there you should be able to do a search for folks selling hydraulic motors and get one using those specs.

As far as the throttle cable, it should be a push/pull cable. Again, do a search for push/pull cables and you should be able to find someone that either has yours in stock, or can make one like yours. In that case you'll usually need overall length, diameter and thread count of the ends, as well as the amount of movement the end makes when you push/pull it.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Just did a search and found this site with a lot of those mini excavators for sale. The way the site reads this place is a direct importer so maybe they can hook you up with both a manual, and the parts for your machine. Usually with machines like this, the importer is the only one able to get OEM parts for the machines they import. Again, good luck.

I bought a heavy duty metal throttle cable, installed and I guess it was too much in a bind. rerouted several times and then the pull up lever finally broke, no im back to no throttle cable and wasted money. The cable I need has threaded ends straight, thread looks 3/8s". local tractor stores are confused with what im looking for. I wish I could make my own throttle linkage out of steel rod. Has anyone done this or is there kits?

There is a difference in most heavy duty 'throttle cables' and a heavy push/pull cable. Try the link below to Cablecraft to see what I am talking about. I have seen ones like this that are way heavier than you need, run through curved and kinked areas you wouldn't believe, still work just fine. I see no reason why one won't work for you. All you need to do is find someone in your area that can custom make what you need, be it from Cablecraft or one of several other name brand cable makers. Good luck.
