Komatsu D31

I have a komatsu D31S-16 Was working great. and it just quit pulling on right side, checked all fluids and found transmission was low, not even touching on the stick. no sign of oilleak anywhere. Filled with 30 weight and started the machine up, to find oil was pouring out of the drain holes under the rear end of the loader, and even some oil from the 1/2 threaded holes on back of rear housing. Took Belly pan off under the trans. all is dry.. Any suggestions hydrshift transmission output shaft seal ??. thanks in advance David

The steerings clutches are hydraulically operated, there is a cylinder for each side,it is my guess that the cylinder for the offending side has an issue, the clutch is spring loaded in the engaged position (driving) the piston could be out too far and jammed keeping the clutch disengaged and letting the oil leak in to the clutch compartment, take the cover off over where the clutch adjustment is done and you may be able to see what happened, the piston should be retracted into the cylinder, look at your hand book for the adjustment.
