Case 310F Crawler Loader........opinions?

Hello there.

Looking at a gas Case 310 crawler. In decent enough shape, UC is about 60%?, pins and roller all good. Runs and drives well , and of course could use new brake bands. Has the rear factory Case scarifier.

Anyway, I want to use this thing to "move" a rather large ditch, that runs through my pasture. Which will consist of digging the new ditch, and then filling in the old ditch. Is this the tool I need, or would one with a blade be a better option? My place is clay, with little black ground. Half on a hill, too.

The engine parts are readily available, as are the brake bands, but what does one do about the UC; where can a guy find parts? Can I use this little guy to do some stump removal? Will the loader take that kind of stress?

I believe that I can get into this thing for about $1750.

Any opinions or ideas are appreciated. Would love to hear some real world/work experience as well.

Thank You.

New bottom rollers are available. Made or sold by DCF. I also just bought new track adjusters for my 310G.

Agree with e trackhoe for the new ditch. The 310 could surely fill in the old one and will do for smaller stumps if you're patient.
