Went today to look at a 1951 bgsh crawler with a heil blade with manual tilt and angle ! Dozed been sitting for 15 years and motor turns freely but missing radiator mag if that's what it had distributor cap just hanging there also no coil Track pads look good and pins have no flat spots but tracks might be set up not sure because we didn't have anything to there to try to move it Also missing battery box and seat assembly Everything else seems to be there except a couple small parts ! Just wondering what it's worth I just want it to clear brush nothing fancy ! I am a heavy equipment operator a farmer and part time mechanic by trade and not sure what I might be getting myself into ! Also is a newer machine with six forward and two reverse speeds and has hydraulic pump mounted on front ! Owner wants scrap price for machine ! Any input would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks !

Have seen 2 "complete nonrunners" sell for ~$1900.00 in past couple of years, ~$4k for runners (1 w/o dozer). Zimmerman Cletrac in Pa. is the generally recognized Cletrac "guru". Info also available @ Cletrac.org. BTW, IIRC the original BGSH engine was a Hercules built under license by Studebaker. Good luck!
