That came out better than I expected.

Lase sunday my Kubota KX41 spitt a couple of drivers out of one of the rubber tracks.
Monday about noon, I got on this forum and asked for references to where I could get a new track. SC Wayne responded with a link to Rubber Tracks.com. Late monday afternoon I called them in Georgia, and talked to Chris. He was very helpful and said there were 3 different sized tracks for my machine. I had to go out and count the number of drivers, and call him back. Recalled, he gave me a price which was much less than I had invisioned, so I ordered a pair, since the other one was weather checked and cracking also. He said it would be Tuesday before being shipped, and should take 3 days to get here to Central NY. Thursday afternoon, they were here.
It's been rainy here for the past few days, so I didn't try to swap them out until this morning. the whole process took me less than an hour start to finish.
Pulled the greese fittings on the adjuster cylinders, took the bucket and a 2x4 and pushed the front idlers back and poped off one track at a time using a short bar to slip each off the front idler, and then just muscled them to the side. Picked up new track and set it on top of carrage to catch a tooth on the drive sprocket and fired it up and worked it over the sprocket, and then the idler. Let it down on the ground and greesed it back tight. Same on the other side and done. No fuss-no muss, and NO Pinched fingers like you get with coventional tracks on a dozer. Good for another 10 years of trouble free operation, I hope.

That's awesome Loren ! Handy little machine, I've run quite a few in the smaller class, they are impressive for their size, Wayne's suggestion/supplier certainly helped I'll bet, that and being rubber, like you said, no pinched fingers with the track pads.

Speaking of which, how is the 310 going, that was interesting with the motor, have not looked on the Case forum.

About 1200 hrs on my U35 here early this spring. Took me maybe a couple of hours and you are right excavator sure is easier than an dozer. You may have to go back and give it about two more shots of grease after a week or so. I used aftermarket also and so far they have held up fine.

Glad I could help out with steering you in the right direction to get the new tracks, and that everything worked out getting them to you for a good price.

I've done tracks that could be a royal PITA, glad to see those went on as easy as they did.

That was really fast. So your rollers and front idlers must have been ok, too?

To release grease out of my tensioners I tack welded a 15/16 nut to put a wrench on the ratchet end of an old deep well socket and then run a silicone hose from the socket to a plastic freezer bag to catch the grease. Saved some mess and clean-up time for me.
