d4 brakes

I called about a d4 think its a d4d. Guy says the breaks are bad and the winch bake is bad also.He is asking $4500 is this about right? Are these bakes expensive and hard to put on?

Sounds like a good deal, if the tracks and undercarriage is good. I've put brakes on a D4. It is a little trickey. The bands will come out thru the top. Pads are available from Cat. You need to drill them and rivet the pads to the bands. Have a long magnet ready, I dropped the wrench a couple of times and had to fish it out.
