Case 580C backhoe value/weight?

A guy down the street from me has a 580C backhoe with cab,no extend-a-hoe. What is the a ballpark weight on this machine?
The engine is shot. Blew a headgasket and bottom is knocking, metal particles in oil. I could probably pick it up for scrap price. i know this is hard without photos to look at but What would be the value on the machine as it sits? Is it worth buying to part out or sell as is?

I don't know the weight ,but it's worth finding out to buy it for scrap and fix it . Those are good hoes that can make you money. Just check for oil leaks , welds , and general condition . Up here in northern ont they average 10 G if they are working .

Owners manual for my 580c list the weight at 11,555 for a standard hoe. In the Midwest a 580c seems to run 7-9k for a running hoe.
