1954 New Holland l425 drive chain size

My neighbor has a l425 Skid Loader that runs like a champ, but the drive chain recently broke. He says that he can"t find anywhere selling the part. I am assuming he called a few places locally. After some research, it seems that there are 2 different sizes on these and a chain is a chain, right? If I just find the right size, it is just a matter of getting the length right.
Is there a way to figure out what size these are or better yet somewhere that may carry the real deal?

Messicks parts diagram show either a #50 chain or a #60 chain with hardened pins. Drain the hydraulic oil and pull a side cover off to see which chain you have. Once you install the new chain,adjust it properly,run it 20-25 hrs and readjust.
