I just received my borrowed cat 955L back from my brother. Mom said "Never a lender'r or borrower be". Anyway seems the engine oil pump is seized. I also noticed in the bottom of the block there was a piece of flexible wire rope. Like a speedometer cable. It was about 4" long an about 1/32" in diameter. Would like to fix machine again not sure what else I should be looking at. I think I should take a look at the main bearings and possibly the rod bearings. Should I look at anything else?
