Looking for a good used torque converter for a Case 800 Terratrac. Part number R16504.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

in Louisville ky area,.,. I have a case-o -matic torgue convertor from a 1964 case 830 ,, It will fit my 1958 800, ,there are fellas on the case forum that could tell you if it will interchange.. I am betting it will ...

Donnie,

Which style , early version welded together

or the later one that bolts together ? Early one

looks like one from a car.

I have the early version that is welded together. My problem is that the bands or "ears" as we call them broke off the converter. We welded them back on but they are still giving us problems leaking oil. We think it must have pulled on the rivets that hold the ears on and that is where it is leaking.

I am not sure which one will interchange. If someone could let us know that would be appreciated.

Everyone that we have talked to looking for a torque converter has basically told us good luck finding one.

about 15 years ago I needed a torque rebuilt for a 680 backhoe, I contacted Midwest Converters in Ill, told them what I needed rebuilt shipped it to them three days later I had it back , customer is still using it today.

they primarely build converters for racing , I just googled Midwest Converters and their still in business.
