trying to locate a serial number on my dresser td20c

i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could find the serial number plate or stamp on my dresser td20c. i just bought the machine recently and cant find the plate or stamp. also im realizing that its very hard to find parts for this machine. if anyone knows any good places in the midwest to find chassis parts for these, that would be great.

Good morning,
If I remember right the s/n tag is on the engine side of the fire wall on the right side of the tractor. So, if you're on the right track look back toward the seat in the engine compartment.
Also seems like the number was stamped on the main frame near the top edge either on the back or above one of the final drives.
Please report back if you find it.
I have heard of a company named Thill or something like that in the mid west for IH parts. Don't know anything about them.

Garett < Dennis is right first sitting in the seat if you raise your right leg and put it on the dash, now let someone go to the engine compartment and look at the bottom of you foot and they should be looking at the serial number metal tag. NOW if it is not there the true sn only (Not model) is also stamped VERTICAL in the rear housing. Here is the best way I can tell you where. Walk up to the rear of the machine squat down and then try to just bearhug the rear end. Your right finger tips should be on the serial number. Other words stamped vertical in the rear housing on the right side rear. Sandpaper or wire brush will be needed. Parts e mail me and I will give you a phone number of a guy that has the largest IH scrap yard around. (E-mail open)

Glad you found your numbers Garrett, they will be needed later on when searching for parts. 20C's were/are good tractors.

Thanks jm, I couldn't remember exactly where they were on the rear frame. Weren't the TD15's in that area also? And what about the 25's, do you know?

15s from the round nose B on thru the c s were also stamped there. And the same with td25 real late B models and all c s are in the same place.
