How tuff is fixing a reverser on old old Case 430 CK?

It won't stay in reverse, even if i try holding the lever. How big job is it? thanks 4 any help.

it will have to be split to fix, the way I do them is roll the rear end away from the engine and leave the loader on, if it has a hoe set it off first, shuttle parts are out there sounds like it has been abused until the rev gear is shot, depending on how bad it is it may take a couple other parts as well

That is how I did my 530 case. Dropped the hoe left the loader on and split the tractor. Seems as the parts were very pricey.
