A local heavy equipment dealer has a CASE 850C tracked dozer on his yard. It has a regular dozer blade on front and a backhoe attachment on the rear. I've never even seen a picture of one of these. Are they that rare? Looks to be an 80's model dozer.

Just an attachment. Winch, ripper, hoe, arch, not rare, just not as common as TLB. You could even put a hoe in place of bucket on some loaders. Not just a Case thing, others did it too. Utility Co"s even put hoe"s on a truck chassis.

Natural Gas companies in West Virginia use them a lot. Sold'em at auctions whenever they depreciated so much of their value that it paid to sell for tax write-off. I bid $10k on a Deere that sold for $18k. Didn't think it would go that high (20 yrs ago).
