My bob cat has developed a problem with the hydrolics. When you try to push the pedel to make it lift it has a catch in it causing it to jerk the load. I checked the linkage and it seems to be ok. once in a while you can fether the load just like on any other piece of equipment but most of the time it jerks.I am thinking that the return spring in the valve body might be broke or have a grove in the valve barrel that is catching the plunger and causeing it to jump or jerk. Does anyone have any other thoughts on this matter that I might be overlooking? Thanks Sam

If it's before a G series, a common problem on all B/C's were the little white pads that the lap bar contacts when it's lowered, they will wear and wont allow the lap bar to push them down far enough to let the linkage work smoothly. Also make sure the foot pedal area is clean and free of debris. If it is a G series the foot pedal area still applies but also the G series had spool lock valves that can go bad.
