I have a Massey Ferguson 300 Crawler loader (not rubber tire) with a 248 Perkins diesel engine. It has a wet sump torque converter type of transmission. I am looking for a ring gear. The ring gear for the clutch type (Perkins P/N 410236. MF P/N 731192M1) is just about 1/16" too large and when put on the flywheel, spins and is not a press fit. I have MF that should be correct, but no one can reference them. (MF# P/N980288M1 or 2711835M1). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
