JD 310 Backhoe Accumulator Hydraulic Bypass Hose

This might be a stupid question...but before moving ahead...I thought...let me ask....

I posted a while back regarding the accumulator on an early JD 310 backhoe. The general indication was I could bypass the accumulator since it has long lost its charge.

The hose feeding the accumulator is 1/2".
From the accumulator to the steering valve it drops to 1/4".

I can make my own hydraulic hoses, but I only have a 1/2" die. I would like to just use 1/2" hyd hose and plumb it in, with legit hydraulic fittings to the 1/4" steering valve....any issue with pressure??? I don't think so...but figured...I would ask.. Thanks.

No shouldn't make any difference with only 2300-2500 psi.. That 1/2" hose might just be a little bulkier to handle the routing..

Ok, thanks! I didn't think it really would be an issue, but figured, let me get the resident experts opinions...
