TRACK UPDATE

Went out and checked tracks, bergo in2606-sealed stamped on chains. Any ideas? Pics in previous post, what are they worth? Thanks jim.

You should measure the pitch of those tracks and see just what percentage they have left. TD6 tracks are rare as hens teeth.

The Berco IN2606 number provided is a link number for TD6 tracks, 6'' pitch, dry chain. Should have 7/16'' pad hardware.
Tighten up the chain by putting a block in the sprocket, then measure the pitch closely over 4 links, measure the link height, measure the grouser height, measure bushing diameter at worn area and then report back. With info should be able to give you the condition.
Have the bushings been turned?
Measure in milimeters if possible.
Hard to find good TD6 undercarriage. Not available new.
Dennis

The chains appear to be new and do not show any sign of wear. Have checkedthe bushings and can not feel any wear or see any sigh of wear. This crawler has sat for at least 30 years other then being started occasionally. Steering clutches are stuck. Jim.
