OC3 brake bands

You can on the OC4,we've done it.Don't know for sure about the OC3,but you can call Zimmerman at 717-738-2573 he knows all about Oliver crawlers from model to model. JDEmarris knows about them also,if he sees this topic he'll give you the straight scoop.

Yes,you can. Drain the oil. Take all the bolts out that hold the pto, pulley assy. Pull all that straight back. Take the pins out of the ends of the bands and remove. When reassembling you will need a helper putting the pto, pulley
assy back in as there will be a short stub drive shaft hanging loose that will need to be lined up
Have done this on the OC 3 and HG. I believe
they are identical.

Yes. The smaller Terratracs, Oliver HGs, OC3s, and some OC4s, and Case 310s all use the same basic Clark transaxle with wet steering brakes. Pretty easy job to pull the back over or PTO assembly and change bands. Just make sure you use non detergent oil or GL-1 gear oil and not more modern oil like GL4, GL5, etc. The EP additives in the newer oils plug up the brake bands and make them slip.
