Getting rid Of dead E70B. Need to move it with dozer or tractor, & chain. Tracks are right for a straight pull from the back of the E70B. Must be a way to release the travel motor so it will "free wheel" 100 ft. Anybody know where it's at & how to do it?

If you can get the final drive cover off and "IF" the the final drive is planetary, not the kind with a crank and two hands you could take the sun gear out and it would roll.

is the final drive what the sprocket is bolted to? In the parts book it calls that a travel drive. Inside it is a flange (p.# 096-6777) which is part of a gear set composed of 2 big gears, one after another, then the flange. On the flange are 2 small gears, one above the other but separated. Then there is a small gear (p#099-6474) on the end of a shaft, held on by a ring, which apparently drives the 2 gears on the flange. All this behind a round cover with a seal under it & a big ring holding it in place, inside the hub.
