I have a chance to buy a 125 International E I think, it has the 4-1 bucket. The owner states the machine is good mechanically and is asking 5750.00
for it. I was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction as to the "price" and the overall thought about this machine as well as any know
problems that they may have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I added a couple of pictures .

Check out the tracks; those look too loose to me. Tracks are very expensive to rebuild.

Not a bad looking E. Looks like there is some adjustment to the track there on the end of the track frame. They run a ih dt 389 engine same as the td8 crawler. Lower part of the little engine has a crankshaft gear driven balancer that also houses the oil pump. They were prone to going out when engine was worn. Run it a few minutes and look at the engine oil pressure, then idel it down and look at blowby. Wpuld not take but a minute to pull the final drive fill plugs and see what the oil looks like. The crawler loader market is depressed without the 4&1 bucket the loader will just not sell. I would say he is about right on the price if it runs, steers and peformes as it should.

Duke I just looked at your photo. There was a kit that allowed instllation of cummins 3.9 engine in that unit to replace the DT 239 ih. It appears from the hump in the hood that your machine may have been converted. I would be very interested in the machine if you do no make the deal. Please let me know where it is located if you do not purchase the machine.
