Evening: I am looking at a 1985 410B, while thinking on it i looked on line for manuals, and I find " 410B 410C 510B 510C Backhoe Loader Operation and Test Manual. Publication #: TM1468, from "Finney",a 508 pages manual.
Can anyone confirm this is a good one to get for owner/operator backyard serviceing/trouble shooting.
Or another source or manual series with more info, or more on the "B" series only?
PS: Any areas of special concern I should be looking at on this machine? they are known for giving problems with?

I've got the Deere OEM tech and owner's manuals for the 300B series in PDF. Very similar but with a smaller engine. Tech manual is 600 pages.

You can have them for free if you can tell me how to send to you digitally. Tech manual is 68 MBs and the owner's manual is 13 MBs.

Deere sells the manuals in .pdf format, or at least they did... online. Also in print... just pay with a credit card and download... print the .pdf. Those are fairly reasonable.
I have the pdf version for the older 410. I think it was ~70~ dollars at the time.

Morning : That sounds like a plan if not the best deal going, just engine size differences, and they shouldn"t be much you say.
I will look into the best way to send, etc and wait until i actually do buy it.
Right side axle bolts being replaced and leaking stabilizer line replaced first, before a test drive/dig.
And hey there Rod, i see you also, and good idea to keep in mind as Wallace Equip has been sold this summer, change in people taking place there.

Yep... they just changed the sign in Sydney yesterday. Good ole Brandt Tractor on it now, the largest Deere Industrial in the world as I've been told.
