John Deere 350 6300 blade

Hey guys,

I have a John Deere 350 (no letter beyond the 350)
It has the 6300 dozer blade option. I just bought
it a week ago. I noticed it had a leak under it
but I did not realize how bad. I got on it and
used it for a couple hours the hydraulic fluid was
in the sight glass. I stop it ate some lunch
noticed the fluid was low put some in, got on the
machine and I can not move the blade in any
direction. It tries but can't move more than a 1/2
inch in any direction. The pump is not squeling, I
have tried to bleed the line(s) at the valve body,
before and after, but all I am getting is fluid
and lots of it! The pump is pumping. I just don't
know where the air could be trapped if that is
the problem. Please help guys!!!

I'd would say that air is not the problem, like said above something could be jamming it,look at the linkage see that none of the links has gone over center,is the blade up or down.

I wonder if the splines on the pump drive stripped out, causing a very low pump operation. Pump drives are very susceptible to stripping out on Deere dozer/loaders..

I don't know what your problem is - but it certainly isn't going to be air in the lines. It's a very simple system. Cessna 13 GPM gear pump in front driven by the engine's crank-pulley. Hydraulic filter inside the hydraulic tank where you can't see it. Up and down control via the hydraulic control lever. Before the problem -what was the hdraulic-restriction indicator showing? Was it bounding up an down? Indicator is on the tank in case you are not aware of it.

Hi,
I would try to lift the blade off the ground with the hydraulics. Once off ground try pushing blade in left or right position. You can do this by placing blade on a tree on side to be pushed and slowly push forward to full range of motion. I would loosen hydro line feeding hydro cylinder not moving and see if you have fluid coming out.
It also may be a clogged filter.
