This old Cat crawler is located in a County Pak near me. Thought you might enjoy the photos.

Because it has this monstrous V plow on it that the only view that is open is from the rear. Approaching from the sides or the front you see nothing but the plow. Jerry

When I was a kid our municipality(county) had two of them. One was used to pull an elevating grader for building roads and the second one had winch put on the back and was used to pull a cable operated scraper. They built a new road past our farm and the Sixty with the scraper was used to built the driveways and approaches. The operator let me ride on the fuel tank when he was building our driveway. An interesting note is the construction models had the fuel tank on the right, the agricultural models had the tank on the left and this one I see that the tank is on the rear.

No, not for sale. Years ago it and some land along side a beautiful river were donated to a local county with the stipulation that it be made into park and left undisturbed. It is really a shame in some aspects because there is a lot of old iron there. 2 steam tractors, tons of stationary"s, air plane engines and many other cool relics. At least it is covered by open sided sheds. Jerry
