Ignition Timing on a TD14A

Hi I have a TD14A that I just replaced stering clutches and other parts to get her back up and running. The dozer has been running in june , like a top, but I don"t have any spark now. I removed the distributor and cleaned the connection and I now have spark to the center post if the distributor but not to each plug.. so i checked the rotor and cleaned the connection but still no spark , well then I found out that my operator had removed the 2 screws from the under the distridutor cap and one of the gear fell out, well he put them back in but I do not have anyway of knowing if they are in the right position for engine timing. Should have titled the post "magneto rotor timing on a TD14A".

Here's a link to the official IH Blue Ribbon Mag Manual. Be SURE to use the marks for the correct rotation. I'm NOT an IH gas-start diesel guy, but, IIRC, those mags run the opposite direction of the straight gassers. Figure that out for sure and use the correct marks!
